Times are a-changing with Saddleback Leather‘s Backpack Shoulder Straps. Here are some thoughts…

- Adding the ability to adjust (tighten) straps while the backpack is on is quite useful and clever.
- These straps seem to be more accommodating unlike the original straps where you had to get the fit of the backpack just right for comfort.
- Being able to go pad-less is a nice option but comfort seems dubious.
These new straps are a definite improvement.
