Kendal & Hyde Announce Modular Leather Briefcase Kickstarter

After half a dozen incredibly successful Kickstarter campaigns, Kendal & Hyde Co. has launched a new line of modular leather briefcases and computer bags. Their first Kickstarter in 2014 was a computer bag, and this is an updated, reworked design with modular features.

The Kendal & Hyde briefcase comes in four styles, two depths and four colors. You can then add extra pockets, pouches, luggage tags, waterbottle holders, and more, to make a personalized briefcase that suits your needs.

The briefcases have multiple divisions and pockets to help you keep things organized. In addition to the main chamber, the briefcase has a computer pocket that holds a 15″ MacBook Pro or smaller laptop; a tablet pocket that fits a standard iPad or smaller tablet; two pen holders; a wide pocket with a cover flap for a computer recharger cord; and a 4.5″ tight pocket behind the recharger pocket.

Each briefcase will retail for $600, but are discounted to $450 as a Kickstarter preorder. The Kickstarter is already funded, but you can still get a great deal on these sturdy bags and accessories.

  1. Watch out for any preorders with this company. Lots of people (myself included) waiting on bags after paying upfront. Months of little (or misleading) communication. I’d recommend only ordering through the website and paying with paypal. I’m watching the date to ensure I can contest this thing if I don’t see some movement soon. Lots of questions, not a lot of answers.

    • You have contacted the company directly right? I certainly hope so and that trolling every single review or article on the Web (like you are here on our BestLeather) isn’t your idea of a solution. Kendal & Hyde are good folks and they’re working hard to fulfill every single pre-order, Kickstarter order, and website order. i know that they’re shipping products now, so I’m sure you will be receiving your bag very soon. Once it arrives, I’m sure you’ll be pleased and that the wait will become a non-issue. Thanks.
